Tlaquepaque (Spanish pronunciation: [tlakeˈpake]) is a municipality of the metropolitan area of Guadalajara in Mexico. Tlaquepaque is well known for its mexican crafts and delicious food. If you’re looking for truly mexican crafts Tlaquepaque is the palce to go.
But anyway, enough with the cultural lesson, yesterday my sister was walking around the town and happened to bump into a series of sculptures by Sergio Bustamante so she snapped some images and sent them to me asking if they were oddly beautiful enough.
I feel that, although they are fairly “normally beautiful” there is something truly intriguing in the shape of the faces of the sculptures so I decided to share them with all of you. What do you think?
